Volunteer for a Great Cause!

 

No great event is possible without dedicated volunteers passionate about the cause.  A wide variety of volunteer opportunities are available for Polo on the Green, descriptions listed below.​ Help out for a few hours to help Variety make a difference in the lives of children.

SET UP: 9 A.M. - NOON

Quantity: (10) volunteers

Description: Assist with setting up the event including decor, centerpieces, linens, silent auction, registration, wine pull, etc. 

​

REGISTRATION: 4-6 P.M.

Quantity: (6) volunteers

Description: Check guests in and let them know their table assignments. 

​

AUCTION REGISTRATION/SUPPORT: 4-11 P.M.

Quantity: (6) volunteers

Description: Register guests for the silent auction via a mobile bidding app. Assist with the live auction by spotting and taking payments. Also, manage silent auction checkout by taking payments and gathering auction items for the winning bidders.

CLEAN UP: 10:30 P.M. - 12 A.M. (SATURDAY, JULY 27)
Quantity: (10) volunteers 
Description: Pick up trash, break down table settings (centerpieces, bag napkins, linens, etc.), pack up leftover auction items, pack up leftover bar items.

CLEAN UP: 10 A.M. - NOON (SUNDAY, JULY 28)
Quantity: (5) volunteers
Description: Assist with taking down decor, picking up trash on the property, and cleaning up the event space.
